On my recent visit to Cape May, New Jersey I was pleased to see the amount of effort put forth in conservation and inclusive practices.
There are centers, sanctuaries, and events that create and encourage habitats and benefit wildlife, particularly birds and native species.
Educational programs and free activities are available to inspire people to care for nature.
Policies that preserve habitat, wildlife, and biodiversity are clearly visible with the use of signs and posters.
Every beach and nature preserve offered wheelchair accessibility throughout the properties as well as well maintained, level paths for walking.
A big surprise for me was to see palm trees growing and I learned that Cape May,NJ is growing zone 8a!
