There is a growing awareness of the disconnect between humans and nature. That disconnect is preventable by spending each day outside, whether the time spent is short or long. Feeling the cool spring breeze on your face, seeing the birds fly by and hearing the evening crickets are all examples of how to connect to nature.

Every day I try to get outside and play. Sometimes I'm planting seeds in the garden and other days I'll be searching for bird nests in the shrubs. Developing a routine takes time and your friendship with nature will grow as you put in that daily effort.
